Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter everyone!!
Such a wonderful time to reflect on what the Lord has done for us!!
So humbling to think about our many day to day troubles and
how they don't even compare to what Jesus did for us!
It makes me feel so loved and cared for knowing that
Jesus died for me and all of my sins!
I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend and
reflecting on the gift of eternal life from Jesus!

Something fun that we did today was dye easter eggs!
This brought me back to when I was growing up and
I would do this with my family!
And now I get to continue this with my new little family!
Yes the little man isn't here yet but it was fun to
imagine doing this with him one day!!
(And all the other holiday traditions that we will continue/start)

Tomorrow Josh and I will go to our church for the service and
then head over to the Markin's for lunch followed
by an afternoon lunch at the Anderson's!
I love this holiday, not only for what it stands for but for the food!!
I LOVE HAM!!
And I get to eat a lot of it tomorrow!!

What are some other fun traditions that you and
your family do for Easter??

  3. those are some pretty eggs and so cute that you have so many fond memories of making them! I didn't get around to making any this year unfortunately but, I used to at my Grandma's house as a kid. We always went to a Mexican restaurant after church and ate the brunch buffet. YUM. So mexican food is my Easter tradition...along with a super fun egg hunt after brunch. Miss it all!
