So much has changed since we last posted! I started thenew job at a behavior therapist at Partners in Excellence and it was an amazing job. I got to work with some precious children and some amazing therapists! It was a wonderful job however in mid December we got some good news - I'm pregnant!! It was a complete surprise for us and we couldn't be more thrilled!! But because of back pain early on in the pregnancy I was unable to work at my job so I had to quit and now I work for my wonderful papa again!! Very fun to be with him everydaymaking fun of him and all that good stuff!
Here is the story about how I told my family! I found out I was pregnant on Dec 16 and told Josh the next day and a few friends as well but decided to keep it a secret from my family until Christmas! It was a very hard secret tokeep from them especially from my mom!! So many times I wanted to give it away! So Christmas morning came and we all gathered around the tree to take a family picture. My sister was in on the secret so she was the one taking pictures (and secretly videoing). She began by saying "say cheese" and then snuck in "say Jillian's pregnant" as she was snapping pictures of their reactions.

Here is the after picture. Notice mom and Kevin's face!
My dad was saying "she's just joking"
Since then we started dreaming of what this little baby would be! Taking names till the late hours and not agreeing on anything!! Don't worry - we will come to an agreement by August 17!

It has been helpful to be pregnant at the same time as my sister Elissa! She has been there for all of my crazy calls about my "symptoms" and has left me feeling good about what is happening to my body! I have to say I have had an easy pregnancy so far! No morning sickness at all! But just dealing with the back pain...sometimes it gets so bad that I am unable to stand or walk. The doctors say that is just something I am going to have to deal with. I say I am fine with that as long as I don't have morning sickness!
I am so excited to meet this little baby and hold it in my arms!!
Here are some pictures of our first ultrasound.
